STAGE 1
UNDERSTANDING THE BRIEF

We will first need to understand from you the following:

  • Information on space (images and drawings)

  • Reference images of desired glass art

  • Your personal preferences and objective for the piece (i.e. conversation piece, symbols of family, etc)

  • Establish overall dimensions, design style, desired effect including colors, textures, preferred glass techniques, lighting required if any

Here we will advise whether a proposed project is technically feasible and identify any potential risks.

STAGE 3
QUOTATION

Once we establish design parameters, our estimations team create a bespoke quotation.

The quotation will break down the total price and lead time required to carry out the works proposed. This ensures from an early stage that the works fall within the proposed project budgets and lead times. If these do not fall within the budget, we return to Stage 2.

STAGE 5
ORDER CONFIRMATION

Once the order is confirmed, a project coordinator is assigned.

STAGE 7
BESPOKE DESIGN

Our design team is led by Florence Ng, founder of Synergraphic and acting Creative Director, who has over 35 years of glass working experience to draw from.

Throughout the design stage, our studio team will submit drawings for your approval. These form the starting point for a unique project and allow the initial ideas to be reviewed and modified quickly and without a significant commitment of resources.

STAGE 9
FABRICATION

Depending on the size and complexity of the project, the process may take weeks or even months. Our customers demand perfection and this is not something that can be rushed.

STAGE 11
INSTALLATION

We are experienced at coordinating all of our site movements with the necessary parties and hold the required certification to work on construction sites.

STAGE 2
CONSULTATION

For homeowners, the brief would usually require further development. Our team will provide a consultation service, free of charge. This is limited to establishing the optimum glass working technique and design style to satisfy your’ technical requirements, budget and design.

This service will establish the parameters of the project, so that we can provide an accurate quotation for services.

STAGE 4
SAMPLING

We have a vast sample library and images of completed past projects and/or other image references that will enable the homeowner to visualise and make a decision on the style / glass technique to be used.

Should you decide that an alternative finish is desired after viewing the sample then we return to Stage 2.

Note: A bespoke sample may be chargeable, depending on the glass and labour required to make it.

STAGE 6
SURVEY

Should you require our team to install their glass, a site survey is carried out. We will ascertain the exact dimensions of the space, any site accessibility restrictions and environmental conditions.

STAGE 8
CONTROL SAMPLE

After the drawings have been agreed on, we create a control sample for approval by you, ensuring all parties share a common vision of the finished article.

Should you decide against the control sample, the design will be reviewed.

STAGE 10
DELIVERY & INSTALLATION

Our team of experienced craftsmen and installers ensure that all glass works are packed, handled and transported with the highest level of care.

If sea or air freight is required, we construct bespoke, hand-made crates for each project. This affords the glass extra protection as the crate is designed specifically to carry its contents.
