Glass Fusing Workshops

Chihuly : Glass in Bloom @ Gardens by the Bay

Join us at Chihuly: Glass in Bloom as we present a series of fun workshops where you can learn about the basics of glass fusing. Create and bring home your own personalized and lovable items in fused glass.

From glass jewellery and swizzle sticks to personalised paperweights, garden stakes and even incorporating real leaves into your creations, these workshops are a wonderful introduction to glass fusing.

At the workshop, you will have a choice of item, and assemble your creation with pre-cut pieces. Follow sample designs or go wild with your creativity! Once you’re done with your creation, it will go into our kiln to be fired up. Pieces require time to cool and will be available for collection a few hours later as advised by our team.

The workshop will come complete with the required accessories where applicable so that the item can be used. No prior experience is required. 

Important things to note: 

• Children (7-12 yo) are welcome to join in, but with parental guidance

• Glass pieces are often sharp and require careful handling 

• Glass is heated to extremely high temperatures in the kiln so be mindful of the area surrounding the kiln
