About the Workshop

This workshop offers a basic introduction to the art of stained glass. Participants will be introduced to the different tools and equipment used in stained glass. You will learn how to handle and cut glass, cut and solder lead, and design a flat panel of a simple design with different colors and shapes. Principles of colors and design will also be discussed. MATERIALS/TOOLS PROVIDED Stained glass, templates, glass cutters, pliers, lead, soldering iron, grinding machine, safety equipment (for use at workshop only) NOTE Participants must be confident with working with their hands as there will be a lot of handling of glass and lead.
