We use a UV digital printing process to print our graphics onto glass. The premium quality inks are german-made UV inks that have high fade resistance and are cured using UV light during the printing process. Glass is by nature fragile. However there are ways to make it into a safety glass when used for interiors and facades. If safety is a primary concern, then the use of tempered glass is recommended. Laminated glass also provides safety and security because of an interlayer that prevents shattering, but is also prone to cracking. 1. Tempered Glass 2. Laminated Glass Laminated glass is a type of safety glass that holds together when shattered. In the event of breaking, it is held in place by the interlayer known as ethylene-vinyl acetate, which is sandwiched between two layers of glass. durability&Practicability INSTALLATION How will you mount glass onto a kitchen wall? A premium construction adhesive is used to bond the glass panel onto the surface of the wall. Home / Design Ideas / Lit or Not Really? Lit or Not Really? Lighting your house the right way is everything. It is, indeed, the make-it or break-it ingredient for any interior and exterior design. With good lighting, you can easily switch from gloomy and unattractive, to warm and bright. If you see some room for ambiance and mood improvement in your house, here are some tips before you light it up: 1/3 START FROM THE TOP It is important to consider ceiling height when selecting hanging light fixtures. There are lights that come with adjustable rods or cables, while some don’t. Avoid getting stuck with a light that hangs too high or too low. The bottom of a light should hang about 12 to 20 inches below a standard 8-foot ceiling. Add 3 inches for each additional foot of ceiling height. CONSIDER YOUR PREFERENCES Plan it out during the initial design phase of your house. Would you like three pendant lights over your dining table because one or two are simply not enough? Take your preferences into account before proceeding to construction. TABLE HOPPING Hanging a light over a table or a kitchen island is a good idea. Just make sure that you keep a 28 to 34 inches distance from the bottom of the light to the surface of the table or island. Also know that the size of the light makes a difference - you can move a smaller light lower and a larger light higher. GO FOR CORD SWAGS If you want to add new pendant lighting while skipping the inconvenience of changing your home’s electrical setup, then get your swag on. Hang them loosely over a hook or for an industrial look, secure the cord tight to the ceiling. LIGHTBULB IS IMPORTANT Know your glow and consider the type of lightbulb, not just the fixture. Compact fluorescent, LED bulbs, and halogen come in a range of warm or cool hues. The type of glow you want, much like the colour of your walls, is mostly a personal decision. STAIRS AND TOE-KICK LIGHTING Adding lights to stair risers is beneficial especially at night. As staircases are often enclosed, you can embed lights in the risers or light them from the sides. In the same way, adding lights to your toe-kicks is more than just aesthetics. Go for strip lighting at the underside of those base cabinets. CHANDELIER ROYALE When it comes to light fixtures, nothing creates an atmosphere like a chandelier. It is what makes a living room alive. It sets the mood and even starts conversation with your guests. What makes a chandelier more impactful is when it is custom-made for you. No one else in the world will have one like yours. Bespoke lighting is the road to royalty of a space. Additionally, chandeliers don’t have to be the usual warm white and bright white. Don’t shy away from coloured shades – they work wonders especially when the light is turned on.
