Certainly. But in case you're unaware what these boards exactly are for, they can make your home ready for all seasons. For starters, a mood board is a tool to define your own style. It lets you picture what you like and dislike collectively and see the common denominator. By using a mood board, you can plan the arrangement of materials, images, and text before decorating your home. Continue reading to check out some mood boards and interior design ideas for Christmas. Before you even buy wreaths, ribbons, glittery pillowcases, here are four inspirations: 1/2 WINTER WONDERLAND Can't wait for winter? No winter in your country? Doesn't matter - you can have winter in your house! To achieve this look, you'll need a frosted or flocked Christmas tree and a soft color palette of pale pinks, light grays, creamy whites, and champagnes. Add some ruffles and white lights, and achieve a chippy wood, glitter, or faux fur texture. SCANDINAVIAN CHRISTMAS Minimalist much? Too in love with Nordic neutral colours? This mood board is perfect for you. What you need are the classic green Christmas tree, white or bubble lights, and some candles. Keep it neutral with creamy whites, greens, browns, and pale grays. For elements, greenery garlands, deer sheds, and pinecones would be easy to find at any decor shops. Texture? Choose linen, wood, burlap, wicker, cable knit, faux fur, and felt. FARMHOUSE CHRISTMAS Go all out and do farmhouse Christmas this year! This cozy style requires jute, burlap, grosgrain, galvanized metal, and brown craft paper for texture. You need to decorate your green frosted or flocked Christmas tree with white lights and farmhouse animal ornaments. Then, have pinecones, greenery garlands, and natural deer sheds all over the room. Stick with plaid accents, gingham, houndstooth, and buffalo checks for the colour palette. BLUE CHRISTMAS For the royal, blue Christmas, you need monograms and a flocked Christmas tree with white lights. You may also go for the classic green tree and then determine the right colour palette. Choices include blue, green, brown, and white; blue, silver, and white; or blue, gold, or white. Have buffalo check, houndstooth, gingham, or a soft antelope print for the elements, and floral picks (Magnolia leaves). Since the company’s formation in 1986, Synergraphic has remained at the forefront of cutting-edge design. 1986 — 1995 Synergraphic opens as a design studio, exploring studio glass as a material for art and design. Florence and her team works from an artistic perspective, creating pieces that were handmade and on a small scale. 1986 Starts out as an interior design studio 1987 Prime Minister’s Office project for etched glass works 1989 Becomes a sole proprietorship 1990 First overseas project: Hotel Cambodiana, Phnom Penh. Brought in first kiln to Singapore 1991 Introduces art in homes with Nobel Design 1992 First breakthrough project: Bamboo Wall for UOB Executive Suites 1993 Becomes a private limited company; organised Singapore’s first national glass art exhibition Passage of Evolution; launched Florence, a jewelry line at Tangs 1995 Launches Paradigm Glassmart in Park Mall, a one-stop source for all glass needs Becomes a distributor for Italian antique mirrors and acid-etched glass from Spain 1996 – 2005 The second decade sees Synergraphic purchasing commercial space and expanding its workshop. There is a more systematic approach to the business, and clients such as decorators and architects have more design and make options for their decorating and construction projects. 1996 Major project: Crystal Glass Pyramid, Jerudong Park, Brunei 1997 Moves into Changi factory 1999 Launches LamiArt and other product lines including sandblasted textures, kilnformed series, and the GEMS Collection 2002 Sets up a hot glass studio in Chengdu, China; opens SynerG Showroom at Mosque Street 2004 The first to set up a hot glass studio in Singapore and the region 2005 Launches Synerscape: Art in the Garden at The Legends, Fort Canning 2006 — 2015 With accumulated expertise and experience to work on complex projects that combined glass with other mediums, Synergraphic is recognized in the design industry for innovative solutions without compromising on creativity.
